Beamish North of England Open Air Museum

Project

The project brief was to assess and design disability access for an historic museum environment around an early 20^th century farm complex. Our commission also included the contract management of construction works that included:

> Creation of a ramped footpath
> Stone walling
> Creation of door access points through a listed building
> Replacement of stone door thresholds
> Creation of internal timber ramp
> Paving in reclaimed flags, bricks and cobbles
> Fan pattern cobble laying
> Wildflora seeding
> Tree and shrub planting
